The Union City Public Library is a full service community library,located in Union City, Pennsylvania, is dedicated to the informational and recreational reading needs of area residents. Santa will be visiting the Union City Library on Tuesday, December 16 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM to read letters mailed to him from the library's special North Pole Mailbox. Join him for milk & cookies and SPECIAL TREATS! Don't forget to bring your camera for pictures with Santa, too! Stop in anytime before December 16 and write your letter. Joy Luebbert, aka "The Queen of Crafts" will be conducting an after school art program for teens titled, "Altered Books" on Thursdays from 3:30 - 5:30 PM at the library. This program is being conducted in collaboration with The Main Street Art Center and Erie Arts and Culture. The altered books will include collage, found poetry and other art work as the students progress over the eight weeks. Classes are now in progress.
